The MV-SC3013XM-08M-WBN is a powerful and versatile SC3000X Series Vision Sensor designed to deliver high-performance inspection, measurement, recognition, and detection capabilities for advanced industrial automation. Equipped with a 1.3MP global shutter CMOS sensor and an 8 mm M12 lens, this vision sensor provides crisp, distortion-free imaging suitable for high-precision inspection tasks across electronics, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and assembly lines.
Featuring an extensive built-in vision toolset, the SC3000X series supports measurement, counting, location, recognition, and defect detection, all in a compact and integrated platform. The device includes advanced tools such as P2P and P2L measurement, brightness and edge analysis, diameter and angle measurement, and a wide set of existence and pattern detection functions. It also supports OCR, multi-object classification, code reading, and anomaly judgment, enabling precise detection of features, shapes, characters, and defects with high reliability.
With robust deep learning capabilities—DL classification and DL object detection—the MV-SC3013XM-08M-WBN greatly enhances inspection accuracy for complex or variable targets, making it suitable for demanding applications such as appearance inspection, packaging validation, product sorting, and quality assurance. The sensor supports up to 32 project files, with easy import/export to streamline production line configuration and switching.
The imaging system features a 1216 × 1024 resolution, 6.9 μm pixels, and a 60 fps max frame rate, enabling both high-speed inspections and fine-detail analysis. It offers flexible exposure settings from 6 μs to 1 second and 0–15 dB gain, allowing optimal adaptation to varying lighting and motion conditions. Output uses Mono 8 format for crisp monochrome results.
Connectivity is extensive, supporting RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, MELSEC/SLMP, FINS, and Keyence KV, ensuring seamless integration into PLCs, robots, controllers, and factory networks. The device uses a Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) interface and provides a 12-pin M12 connector for power and I/O, including three opto-isolated inputs and outputs. Operators can also trigger inspections using a dedicated top trigger button, providing convenience for setup and diagnostics.
Mechanically, the sensor supports M12-mount lenses with mechanical autofocus, offering flexibility across working distances and applications. It includes an interchangeable polarized/diffused/transparent lens cap, enhancing illumination control. A built-in white spot light source ensures stable imaging, with optional red/blue/IR lighting to handle challenging materials or surface conditions. The device also integrates a 360-degree visual indicator and a dedicated aiming LED for effortless alignment during installation.
The MV-SC3013XM-08M-WBN is built for industrial durability, featuring an IP67-rated housing when used with the waterproof lens cap. It operates reliably in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C and tolerates humidity up to 95% non-condensing, making it suitable for harsh factory environments.
