The MV-SC2005AM-02WBN is a high-performance AGV guidance vision sensor from the SC2000A Series, specifically developed to meet the demanding requirements of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) used in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and material-handling environments. Combining fast imaging, accurate positioning, and robust code-reading capabilities, this compact sensor provides reliable visual navigation support for modern autonomous transport systems.
Equipped with a 0.5MP global-shutter CMOS sensor, the device delivers crisp, distortion-free imaging even during rapid movement. With a resolution of 800 × 600, a wide 93.8° field of view, and a precisely calibrated 100 mm ± 5 mm working distance, the sensor ensures stable detection of guide codes and navigation markers. The system supports Data Matrix DM-12 and DM-14 2D symbologies, enabling AGVs to interpret positional data, direction indicators, and task instructions with exceptional accuracy.
Designed for high-speed autonomous vehicles, the MV-SC2005AM-02WBN offers an impressive 100 fps frame rate and can read up to 100 codes per second, supporting AGV speeds of up to 3 m/sec. Its extremely fast 20–9000 μs exposure time and a broad 1–330 dB gain range ensure consistent performance under diverse indoor lighting conditions, from bright factory environments to dim warehouse aisles.
A key highlight of this model is its precision displacement and angle measurement, featuring 0.1 mm displacement accuracy and 0.1° angle accuracy, which are critical for AGVs requiring smooth navigation along narrow paths, tight curves, and complex route layouts. The sensor provides a large 170 × 130 mm field-of-view area at the recommended distance, allowing reliable detection even when the AGV experiences minor height or angle deviations.
Engineered for robust industrial integration, the device supports SmartSDK, UDP, and Serial communication protocols, enabling seamless connectivity with AGV controllers, navigation computers, or fleet management systems. It includes Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) and RS-485 via a 12-pin M12 connector, ensuring reliable data transfer and real-time synchronization with the AGV’s motor and control systems.
The MV-SC2005AM-02WBN features a durable, industrial-grade design with an IP65-rated enclosure (when installed with a waterproof lens cap), providing strong resistance to dust, oil mist, and water splashes—common conditions in factory and logistics environments. It operates effectively in temperatures from 0 °C to 50 °C, with a storage range down to −30 °C, making it suitable for both standard and low-temperature facilities.
Powering at 24 VDC, the sensor offers flexible power consumption depending on usage mode—requiring 18 W with the built-in illumination active, and only 3 W when the self-light source is disabled.
