The Lightning DC 60 kW Dual-Gun Fast Charger is a high-performance DC charging solution designed for dual-vehicle, medium-load charging sites such as public charging zones, commercial parks, fleet hubs, and mid-size depots. Equipped with two CCS2 connectors, the charger supports smart power sharing, allowing one or two electric cars to charge intelligently from a single unit—maximizing throughput without requiring costly grid upgrades.
Powered by a three-phase 400V AC input, Lightning DC delivers up to 60 kW DC output with a wide 200–1000V voltage range, ensuring compatibility with modern 4-wheeler EV platforms. When both guns are in use, dynamic load balancing automatically optimizes power distribution to maintain safe and efficient charging performance.
The charger features a 7-inch high-brightness touchscreen that remains clearly readable even in direct sunlight, along with multi-mode user access via mobile app and RFID. With built-in Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G connectivity, it supports real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and OTA updates. Full OCPP 1.6J compliance ensures seamless integration with charging management systems and backend platforms.
Safety and durability are central to its design. Housed in a rugged IP54-rated enclosure, Lightning DC includes comprehensive protections such as over-current and short-circuit protection, over/under-voltage safeguards, earth leakage and residual current detection, insulation resistance monitoring (IMD), surge protection (SPD), MCCB, fuse protection, earth fault relay, and over-temperature derating/shutdown.
