Description
Avery Dennison™ HPA™ 2922 – Modified Acrylic High-Performance Transfer Tape
Avery Dennison™ HPA™ 2922 is a high-performance, unsupported modified acrylic adhesive transfer tape designed for applications requiring excellent adhesion, high holding power, and durability under extreme conditions. With a 50-micron unsupported adhesive film backed by a white polyethylene-protected paper liner, HPA™ 2922 delivers immediate initial adhesion and long-term bonding performance across a broad range of substrates, including plastics, metals, and low surface energy (LSE) materials.
This tape leverages a specially developed cross-linking system that ensures superior chemical, solvent, moisture, temperature, and UV resistance. Its construction also facilitates easy die-cutting, slitting, and smooth removal at the point of application, making it suitable for industrial assembly, electronics, signage, and automotive applications.

Applications
Industrial and electronics assembly
Automotive bonding and trim applications
Signage and graphics requiring high holding power
Bonding of low surface energy (LSE) plastics and metals
Die-cut parts and laminations requiring high chemical and temperature resistance
Application Techniques
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of grease or oil
Apply even pressure to maximize adhesive-to-surface contact
Performance may vary depending on substrate type, pressure, and temperature
Storage and Shelf Life
Store in original packaging at 64–72 °F (18–22 °C) and 30–70% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight
Shelf life: 2 years under recommended storage conditions
