Description

Avery Dennisonโ„ข FT Y6663 is a high-performance double-coated scrim tape featuring a hot melt rubber adhesive on both sides of a polyester scrim carrier. Designed specifically for bonding to foamed rubbers and plastics, it excels in gasketing and sealing applications where strong initial tack, durability, and flexibility are essential.

This product incorporates a high coating weight adhesive for maximum surface wet-out and anchorage to difficult or uneven substrates. The polyester scrim reinforcement provides mechanical strength and dimensional stability while maintaining conformability. It is ideal for EPDM profiles, weather seals, gaskets, and other industrial or domestic sealing applications where long-term adhesion and resistance to volatile materials are required.

FT Y6663 is supplied with a Havana (yellow/brown) glassine release liner that ensures easy converting, kiss die-cutting, and smooth application.
