Double Deep Racking by Giraffe Storage Systems is an advanced high-density storage solution designed to maximize warehouse capacity without compromising on accessibility or operational efficiency. This system stores pallets two positions deep on each side of the aisle, effectively doubling the storage density compared to conventional selective racking. It is ideally suited for warehouses handling medium- to high-volume inventory with multiple pallets of the same SKU.
Constructed using premium-grade structural steel, the system offers exceptional strength, durability, and stability under heavy load conditions. The rack design features deep storage lanes supported by robust beams and frames, ensuring consistent pallet alignment and safe handling. To operate efficiently within this system, special deep-reach forklifts or extension attachments are used, enabling operators to access the second pallet position with ease.
The Double Deep Racking configuration follows a FILO (First-In-Last-Out) principle, making it suitable for non-perishable, batch-based, or semi-regular stock rotation.
